day 11 10/29 Capital Reef day 2

Another amazing day. The geology does not seace to amaze us. We hiked the Grand Wash Trail this morning.

White tail deer are all over our campsite. It's crazy . There are orchards all around us so they are well fed!

We then did a sunset hike!!!

More later. No service here. Found one high pull off with one bar !! So check back later. I am also adding to some of my past posts as service allows. Ox to all. We are having an absolute blast!!!

day 10 10/28 Capital Reef day 1

Had no service for awhile so sorry for delay.  Spent our first day in Capital reef today. Each park just keeps getting better. Such amazing geological history it's mind boggling. We heard a talk from a 22 year old ranger doing an internship about the geology of the park. It was one of the most informative, engaging, fun talks ever. I was so impressed. She was like a walking encyclopedia with positive enthusiasm! Learned about the changes from 250 million years till now. Wow.

We saw cowboys hearding their cows back to their ranch from a summer of grazing. Will add better pictures later!

Grant caught tuna and fresh froze for us!! Enjoying it tonight with Holcomb farm veggies in coconut ginger sauce and fresh turmeric on rice noodles. Who says camping has to be simple food!! Lol

day 9 10/27 Goblin Valley State Park

Goblin Valley was so interesting. Wished we had come her when the boys were 5!! They would have gone crazy playing hide and seek!! 

day 8 10/27 Canyonlands

 today was an amazing day at Canyonlands National Park. A well kept secret, and one of the newest National Parks!!

I will add captions later to many posts...too tired after hiking all day lol.
