This morning we drove to Kodachrome State Park and did a few hikes offering different perspectives once again.
One of the towering Monoliths
Really cool Juniper bark and tree
We did a little nature trail hike with many really cool quotes dispersed between the info boards.
We then drove to Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. We hiked the Willis Creek Trail which was a mile or so in through 4 or 5 slot canyons. It just keeps getting better and better!!!
Sorry but I just had to include MANY photos. lol. It was so surreal.
And not 1 minute out of the narrow slots....after I had joked with Jerry " I hope we don't run into a cow or horse in here" ( because there were scat piles in spots) a group of about 10 ranchers out for fun came upon us!!!! It felt like the wild west!
we then drove to Bull Gorge
driving out we met up with the ranchers again
On the way back to Bryce we hiked the Mossy Cave Trail with a mini waterfall and a spring that actually had MOSS in this arid climate. so facinating.
